Terms of Service

Last updated: September 9, 2026

These terms govern your use of DOT Advisor Pro. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. This document is a template and should be reviewed by your legal counsel before use with clients.

1. Service

DOT Advisor Pro is a software platform that helps motor carriers manage driver qualification files, vehicle compliance documents, and audit readiness. DOT Advisor Pro organizes records and surfaces expirations and gaps; it does not certify legal compliance or driver qualification. You are responsible for determining whether your drivers and vehicles meet applicable regulations.

2. Accounts

Access is managed by your company administrator. You must provide accurate information, keep your credentials secure, and not share access with unauthorized users. Unauthorized access or use may result in suspension of your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to upload unlawful content, misuse the service to harass others, attempt to access data outside your company workspace, or interfere with the service's operation. Each company's data is isolated; you may not attempt to access another company's records.

4. Your data

You retain ownership of the documents and information you upload. You are responsible for the accuracy of records and for ensuring you have the right to store any personal information you upload about your drivers. You may export your data; contact your administrator or support for assistance.

5. Fees & billing

If your plan includes paid features, fees are described at sign-up. We may change fees with notice. Non-payment may result in suspended access to paid features.

6. Service availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, change, or discontinue features with reasonable notice. We are not liable for data loss caused by events outside our control.

7. Disclaimers

The service is provided 'as is' without warranties of any kind. Compliance determinations made using the service are your responsibility, not ours. We do not warrant that the service will meet all your regulatory requirements.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, DOT Advisor Pro is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost profits, arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior twelve months.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms. Upon termination, your data may be retained for a limited period and then deleted according to our retention policy.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will notify users of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which DOT Advisor Pro operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
