This policy describes how DOT Advisor Pro collects, uses, and protects information when you use our service. This document is a template and should be reviewed by your legal counsel before use with clients.
We collect account information (name, email, role), company information (company name, USDOT number, contact details), and compliance documents you upload, which may include personal information about your drivers such as license numbers, medical certificate details, and employment history.
We use your information to provide and improve the service, to surface document expirations and compliance gaps, to communicate with you about your account, and to enforce security. We do not sell your personal information.
Your records are visible only to members of your company workspace as authorized by your company administrator. We do not share your data with other companies. We may share information with service providers who help us operate the platform, under appropriate confidentiality obligations, and when required by law.
Access to records is restricted by company and role. Documents are stored in private storage and accessed through time-limited signed links. We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, but no system is perfectly secure.
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your company's data; some records may be retained as required by law or for audit purposes.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. Contact your administrator or support to exercise these rights.
If you access the service from outside the United States, your data may be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using the service, you consent to that transfer.
The service is not intended for individuals under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy and will notify users of material changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
